You're good at what you do - our Certification Program helps you prove it
You supply client references that we'll use to verify your firm’s experience. An eye-catching certification icon will display next to your listing on GBHealth.org and becomes available for use in your marketing collateral.
GreenBook Health stands as a neutral third party thatverifies the accuracy of references and then determines whether a firm qualifies for certification. Users of the directory can act on the information with confidence, and we will never publish client names.
Overview
The reference certification icon is issued on a category basis.
For each category of healthcare marketing services in which you wish to earn the certification icon, you have to submit to
GBHealth three client references.
These references must be willing to verify to GBHealth your
expertise, as detailed below.
If the client references offer positive, supplemental comments,
GBHealth will request permission to publish those comments anonymously. No negative information
is ever published.
Application Process
You can apply to be certified by completing an application for the GBHealth Certification Program.. Separate information must be submitted for each service category for which the company seeks certification.
To achieve certification:
•
You must have completed a project within the past 24 months in the specific category in which you are applying for Certification.
•
Your clients must attest to having been satisfied with your work.
•
Your clients must indicate that they would consider rehiring you for similar work in the future.
There are three forms of certification:
A. Standard - Intended for all companies with healthcare experience that meet basic certification
requirements. This certification is good for three years.
The applicant provides:
–
Two general references that can
attest to its general expertise in healthcare marketing,
–
One specific reference for which the company has completed a project directly relevant to the respective service category.
General references can be used repeatedly for certification in multiple categories.
B. Alternate Standard - GBHealth understands that clients may be
difficult to reach. For this reason, we will accept email or
regular mail documents from references:
–
Two general references that can
attest to its general expertise in healthcare marketing,
–
One specific reference for which the company has completed a project directly relevant to the
respective GBHealth service category.
General references can be used
repeatedly for certification in multiple categories.
These documents have to be sent
direct to GBHealth by the reference either on company letterhead
or through the company's email service. The reference letter or
email needs to address the key certification elements described
below.
C. Provisional - Intended for established companies
that are new to the healthcare industry, and newly established firms whose
principals have demonstrable healthcare industry expertise. This certification
is good only for one year.
In lieu of client references, you
may supply a package of three qualifying credentials that attest
to your company's (or the company principal's) expertise relative
to healthcare marketing services. GBHealth can provide a list of admissible qualifying credentials.
GBHealth certification specialists will
accept or reject the submitted references in their sole discretion.
In the case of unacceptable references, GBHealth will ask you to provide
alternate references.
If a company successfully completes
provisional certification, it is applicable to all service categories
for which it applies. Provisional certification is good for only
one year.
Certification Criteria
For standard certifications, the certification specialist will confirm that:
•
The reference is/was a client of the company within the past 24 months,
•
For the two general references: the client has purchased products/services related to healthcare marketing from the company
•
For the category-specific reference: the reference did procure products/services from the company that were relevant to the category,
•
For all references:
-
the work was conducted by the company largely as promised (timely completion and final cost),
-
the client was satisfied with the finished product/service,
-
the client would consider utilizing the company again for work of a similar nature.
For alternate standard,
the submitted letters or emails must address the above items, though no specific
format is required.
For provisional certifications, the certification
specialist will contact references by mail or email, as well as review submitted
materials, as appropriate.
Customer Comments
For standard certifications, if one or more references provide positive supplemental comments about the work of your company, they will be handled as follows:
The certification specialists will collect all positive comments made by all references. The comments will be edited for style and length and will be posted with your listing. Your company will be emailed that new information has been added to your listing in GreenBook Health.
If desired, your company may elect to have us remove the comments in your GBHealth listing. You may not select only certain comments for publication; comments will only be published on an “all or none” basis.
At no time is a client name ever published. At no time is negative information/comment ever published.
